Big Data Analytics

“We are living in the information age” is a popular saying; however, we are actually living in the data age. Terabytes or petabytes of data pour into our computer networks, the World Wide Web (WWW), and various data storage devices every day from business. This explosively growing, widely available, and gigantic body of data makes our time truly the data age. Powerful and versatile tools are desperately needed to automatically uncover valuable information from the tremendous amounts of data and to transform such data into organized knowledge. This necessity has led to the birth of Big Data Analytics. • Is BIG Data the next big thing? How it is different? What is Machine learning, MapReduce, Hadoop, Spark? • What type of business rules Business analysts write? Are they relevant? What is a data scientist? Big Data Analytics course will explain the basics of Business analytics, big data models and tools. This course would equip you to know the concepts, the technical architecture of big data and other technical stuff related to big data. Please note that this is a technical course. Knowledge of database management and knowledge of fundamentals of statistics with R programming is a must.
